On-site lab services
A lab inside the clinic for routine blood work, rapid strep, flu and COVID-19 tests, urinalysis, pregnancy testing, A1c and INR checks, with most results back the same day or the next morning.
What this covers
Having a lab in the building changes how a visit works. Blood is drawn in the same appointment, rapid tests come back before you leave, and your provider can act on a result today instead of booking you again next week.
Our Riverpoint lab handles routine chemistry, lipids, A1c, thyroid function, complete blood counts, urinalysis, cultures, pregnancy tests, INR monitoring for patients on warfarin, and rapid tests for strep, influenza, COVID-19 and RSV. Send-out testing goes to a regional reference lab, usually back within two business days.
Walk-in draws are available for patients who already have an order, and fasting draws start at 7:30 am so that you are not waiting all morning without breakfast.

Routine blood work
Chemistry, lipids, A1c, thyroid, complete blood count and liver and kidney function.
Rapid tests
Strep, influenza, COVID-19, RSV, urinalysis and pregnancy tests with results in the visit.
INR monitoring
Regular checks for patients on warfarin, with dose adjustment the same day.
Walk-in draws
No appointment needed when you already have a lab order on file.
Early fasting slots
Fasting draws from 7:30 am so the wait is short.
Results with context
Every result gets a plain-language note, including the normal ones.

Lab services questions
Not if you already have an order on file. Walk in during lab hours and the wait is usually under fifteen minutes.
Rapid tests come back during the visit. Most in-house blood work is back the same day, and send-out tests take about two business days.
Usually yes, if they send us the order and your insurance covers our lab. Call the front desk to check before you come in.
