Most women's health care does not need a specialist. Riverbend providers handle annual exams, cervical cancer screening, breast exams and mammogram referrals, contraception including IUD and implant placement, urinary and vaginal infections, heavy or irregular bleeding, fertility questions and the full range of perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
Early pregnancy confirmation, first-trimester labs and referral to a Spokane obstetric practice are handled here, and we stay involved with your general health through the pregnancy. After delivery we provide postpartum follow-up, contraception counselling and screening for postpartum depression.
Menopause care gets its own longer visit. That means real time to talk about sleep, mood, bone health, cardiovascular risk and the evidence for and against hormone therapy, rather than a rushed conversation at the end of a physical.

Infections and bleeding
Evaluation and treatment of urinary, vaginal and pelvic symptoms, and work-up for abnormal bleeding.
Pregnancy
Confirmation, first-trimester labs, obstetric referral and postpartum follow-up.
Bone health
Osteoporosis risk assessment, DEXA referral and treatment when it is indicated.
